Eric is in charge of the Group strategy and leading the Group’s development plans.

Experience

Eric has 15 years of exposure to the payroll sector and 17 years experience in professional services prior to this, giving him a firm understanding of the sector. In addition, he has been in many executive and non-executive roles which have provided him with experience of private equity and other external funding sources as well as many business acquisitions and disposals.

He has worked with a range of management teams to collaboratively grow them and the businesses they worked with.

Ambition

Eric brings drive, energy and enthusiasm to all the businesses he is involved with. As well as grasping the “big picture” he is capable of mastering the detail of processes and situations to help the team arrive at potential solutions and implement those solutions swiftly.

About

Personal passions are business, cycling, Liverpool Football Club, sport, cars, food – cooking and eating out, politics and learning new things!

Laura DonellyConnect with Laura Donelly

Chief Finance Officer

Responsibilities

All things finance, from getting invoices paid through to filing statutory accounts and everything in between.

Experience

Laura is a Chartered Accountant, who previously worked for Sage where she learned a lot about payroll software. She’s spent 21 years in finance and 7 years working in the software industry during that time.

Ambition

Laura is very excited about harmonising the financial processes across the three businesses. She believes that the breadth of product offering provides a compelling value proposition for our customers which provides a great platform for growth.

About

Laura is a brownie pack leader on Monday nights (if anyone is in need of campfire songs, let her know) and most other evenings you can find her doing a barre class.

Matthew NicholsonConnect with Matthew Nicholson

Acquisitions Director

Responsibilities

Matt’s focus is on M&A strategy and the successful identification and execution of bolt on acquisitions.

Experience

Matt has worked with a number of businesses to define and deliver their M&A strategies over a number of years. He was previously a Director in M&A Advisory at Deloitte and has 16 years of experience.

Ambition

Passionate about building relationships with management teams, helping them to create value either personally as vendors or as acquirers of strategically compelling businesses.

About

Matt’s passions are family & friends – ideally with them in a beautiful location with a beer. Sport – an outrageously competitive amateur at anything, with cycling and football being the real true loves. The North – proud Lancastrian living in Yorkshire. Food – will eat anything and loves to cook up a curry, hot sauce is my friend.

Dan BrookerConnect with Dan Brooker

Trace COO – PSSG Commercial Executive

Responsibilities

Running the Trace business and analysing commercial opportunities within the Group.

Experience

Chartered Accountant who has worked across practice, industry and in private equity. 

Dan has spent the last 7 years either working for, or in private equity to identify the drivers behind businesses and looking at ways to grow them. 12 years industry experience.

Ambition

Dan loves seeing the potential in SMEs and how with a bit of professionalisation, you can supercharge the growth. He can quickly understand opportunities and match them to the data the business has, to drive change which falls to the bottom line.

About

Dan is sports mad but doesn’t get to play as much as he would like. He still gets in the odd round of golf, but mainly enjoys sport as a spectator these days. 

Georgina RichardsConnect with Georgina Richards

Head of Payroll Transformation

Responsibilities

Georgina oversees current payroll processes across the Group with a view to improving them and ultimately making each business more efficient in their day to day activities. She also facilitates and manages the migration of clients to a new software platform and provides extensive support to the teams within each business.

Experience

Georgina has a Level 5 diploma in Payroll Management and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics & Statistics. For most of her 13 years in payroll, she has worked within an outsourced payroll environment. She also has experience working in payroll implementation from both a technical and client facing perspective, as well as in data migration projects.

Ambition

Georgina has always been ambitious and holds excelling in work with a lot of value. She draws energy from helping people gain confidence in what they do, by providing them with the tools to operate efficiently and to the benefit of themselves, the business and their clients.

About

A keen traveller, Georgina was fortunate enough to spend two years travelling the world. Highlights being the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan and sleeping under the stars in the centre of Australia. When back at home, if not at the cinema, theatre or in a pub with friends, you will usually find her with her head in a dystopian book series. 

Peter CroweConnect with Peter Crowe

Interim Cintra COO

Responsibilities

As COO for Cintra, Peter is responsible for client delivery, incorporating outsourced services, implementation, HR and admin.

Experience

Peter has worked in a number of software and professional service businesses and in a variety of financial and commercial roles. He brings a focus on robust financial performance while building strong client relationships and developing internal resources to their potential. 30 years of industry experience.

Ambition

His challenge to himself is to develop a better business and to enable his teams to show their potential. 

About

Most of Peter’s interests and hobbies revolve around sport. He is interested in most sports and once upon a time, even played some of them! Nowadays, he keeps to tennis and running.

Otherwise, he enjoys walking and travel.

Linda WalshConnect with Linda Walsh

Head of Client Development

Responsibilities

Client Development.

Experience

Linda has experience in both private and public sector payrolls, from service delivery, payroll account management, parallel processing and the transition of new payrolls into live service. Linda has also dealt with the production of payroll procedures, managing complex pay rules, assisting the bid team as the payroll lead on large payroll bids and establishing efficiencies and improvements within the payroll delivery service team. 36 years of industry experience.

Ambition

Linda enjoys challenges and making a difference and loves feeling a sense of achievement when projects are completed. She works in an organised and structured way, ensuring best practice and procedures are followed.

About

A down to earth person, Linda enjoys socialising with friends and holidays in the sun, so 2020 has been tough! After 23 years with her partner, Linda got married in 2019 and has 1 daughter who is also working in payroll.

Seb AsplandConnect with Seb Aspland

Chief Technology Officer

Responsibilities

Product, Development and IT across the entire PSSG group.

Experience

Seb has built and run product and development teams in high growth and high uncertainty environments, working for some of the fastest-growing VC and PE-backed tech companies in the UK. He also built his own web development agency from nothing to 31 people, opening offices internationally. 14 years of industry experience.

Ambition

Seb is obsessed with building great tech products that genuinely solve real-world problems. One of his biggest drivers is hearing how much customers love the products, and knowing they’re somehow making a positive impact in the world. 

About

Outside of work, you will likely find Seb reading a good book or on his road bike. He has been known to commute 20 miles each way on his bike, and completed the London to Brighton bike ride. Seb is also a dad to a 3-year-old daughter who has an answer to everything and unlimited energy. One of his hardest roles in life!

Chloe WalkerConnect with Chloe Walker

Marketing Executive

Responsibilities

Marketing across the businesses and the Group.

Experience

Chloe has experience working for companies of different sizes in various industries. She is both highly analytic and creative which has given her a diverse skill set, beneficial all areas of marketing.

Ambition

She is driven by seeing how strategic marketing can help drive results and loves watching companies grow and reach their potential. She believes it’s important to never stop learning and that you can do almost anything you put your mind to.

About

She has always loved a good challenge in sport, with one of her most memorable achievements being running a marathon on her 21st birthday. She enjoys developing her skills outside of work too and has qualified as a yoga teacher and reflexologist.
